INTRODUCTION

Acupuncture is among the oldest healing practices in the world. As part of
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture aims to restore and
maintain health through the stimulation of specific points on the body.   We
are excited to offer this special service for the benefit of our patients.
Although acupuncture and herbal medications are often described as
“Alternative” treatments, we prefer to use these tools as a “Complement” to
the high standard of veterinary medicine that we strive to provide to each
and every one of our patients.  In fact, the use of acupuncture and TCM is
most effective when used in conjunction with standard veterinary diagnostic
testing and/or medications.
