Dr Mark Pettit, DVM
Dr. Pettit was raised in Wymore, NE. He is a 1981 graduate of Kansas State
University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from veterinary
college he spent a year working in a mixed animal practice in South Dakota
before joining the staff of Animal Medical Clinic in 1982. He is very skilled in
orthopedic surgery, especially in the repair of knee injuries in dogs. Dr. Pettit
belongs to numerous community service organizations and leads a youth
Veterinary Explorers group. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and trap
shooting. Dr Pettit and his wife, Sheila, have two sons, Justin and Jacob, and
enough pets to fill their farm.
